Dre' Brown has lived his whole life on Kodiak Island, Alaska. Alaska is well known for its incredible beauty and untamed wilderness. There is adventure around every corner, especially for someone like Dre'. His dad, Duke, is a commercial fisherman and has taught Dre' how to hunt and fish. In fact, both men have a passion for the outdoors. During Dre' Brown's life, there has always been one hunt that eluded him. Dre' has dreamt about hunting a true monster, one of the biggest bears on earth, a Kodiak Island Brown Bear. Dre' gets a special graduation present from his parents, one that will change his life forever. His dad has a special plan for his son. This won't be a normal hunt. Danger surrounds the men as they travel deep into the mountains. A near plane crash and an angry pack of wolves are waiting for them, but those are minor compared to the huge brown bear named Sampson that is stalking them. As fate would have it, the Brown family is familiar with this old bear. But can they survive him twice? Will Dre' and Duke make it off the mountain to tell their amazing story? Or will Alaska claim two more victims? Can Dre' find hope and a way to survive his hunting adventure?
